History

The SGE history starts in the year 2002 with module manufacturing in the southern part of Sweden. The goal was to produce high quality and innovative solar cell modules for the growing solar energy market. After the sales rose, the company expanded and became a worldwide supplier of modules.

To be able to strengthen the companys market position the headquarters was in 2011 moved to Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. At the same time a new strategy was formed and the business focus was moved from module sales toward project development.  Today Scandinavian Green Energy is active all over the globe and manages and coordinates projects of every size from the headquarters in Gothenburg.
